At our first meeting, we will discuss exactly what you have in mind for your event. Then of course there is the budget, and how we can get the most for your money. It is best to allow at least 3 months to plan your event. Our company can plan events in under 3 months, however, there is a increase in our fee. When gathering information for your event, there are key elements requested but not required prior to contacting your event planner (Kelis Monae Events). Kelis Monae Events is here to work for you, as mentioned before there are key elements needed prior to our initial meeting. Below, will help you get that info together KME plans all types of events including: Weddings/Receptions, Birthday Parties, Retirement Parties, Graduation Parties, Wedding Showers, Baby Showers and much more That list should include the following:

                                                                                       Date:

This is only difficult when your planning a outdoor event or a seasonal event. With the seasonal events, you have to make sure that your guests will be able to attend. Of course the weather is unpredictable, and sometimes an alternate venue is needed.

                                                                                      Budget:

This is where the hard work comes in. Planning a party does not have to cause you to break the bank, but it can. The most you have to do is figure how much you can afford in total for the event. Once that is done we can sit down and figure out the proper allocation; such as venues, food, decorations etc.

                                                                                      Theme:

Themes are very popular and fun at the same time. With that said, it can also add to your costs. It all depends how detailed you want to get with the theme. For example, if you want to have a cowboy themed party with real ponies, that will cost you a little bit more.

                                                                             Number of Guests:

Last on the list, but certainly not least. The amount of people attending your event can determine how much you are going to spend. For example, if your event is a wedding and you have 500 people expected to attend, you will need a big enough venue, which can get pricey.
